Nicholas Bredimus’ Remarkable Biography
Born in New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus examined software, airlines, and hospitality together and energized these industries. This resourceful man has found work in a number of areas, from the high-value home industry via the essentials of safety in the air to software programs to save manpower and time. With roots all the way to classical times, Nicholas’ provenience ties in with multiple countries in Europe. On his mother’s branch he hails from Scottish and German bloodlines. His father’s family, by contrast, originally comes from England and Luxembourg, from where his forebears subsequently emigrated toward the end of the 19th century. After their arrival in America, the line still worked hard to climb in the world. Nicholas, who would grow up with his four sisters and two brothers, was a child of a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. He went on to dwell in the Lone Star State for several years and also spent time in Reston, VA, Kansas City, MO and Scottsdale, AZ. So what did he do with his pedigree and education? He would soon embark on a series of respected roles, all as part of huge airlines. Mr Nicholas Bredimus ascended to the position of vice president with firms like Trans World Airlines (TWA), Republic Airlines, and Hughes Airwest respectively. Most celebrated, however, was his role as a gifted software designer working with the airlines. His creation of aircraft maintenance programs, now commonplace throughout the air travel business while originally coded for one specific firm, ultimately led to what is surely his most famous achievement. This was only one of his standout creations for airlines and for the hotel business. The booking programs he designed are on their way to stand alongside the aircraft maintenance program as a standard, and his room reservation routine empowered many hotels to roll out a PC client based system. Continuing to innovate, he developed a networking program to help with ticket ordering – another first for his resume. Though it was certainly his specialty, he has often worked in non-software fields. Nicholas Bredimus managed American Express’ computer division, founded Bredimus Systems, and became the founding president of American Airlines’ AMR Travel Services.
