Mummy Cupcake
Make this cupcake with a red velvet cake batter and decorate with our favorite cream cheese frosting.
How To:
- Cover the top of the cupcake with a thin layer of your cream cheese frosting.
- Using the flat ribbon tip attachment on a piping bag, cross-hatch a few piped layers to create the mummy’s spooky “wrapped” look.
- Use two black jelly beans for the eyes and create a mouth with a thin string of red licorice.
- To properly cover up the eyes, pipe a few strands of mummy wrap around the jelly beans.
Witch Cupcakes
Witch cupcakes are easy to create. We suggest using a chocolate cupcake batter with butter cream frosting that is dyed to be green or light purple.
How To:
- Frost the cupcake with a thick layer of dyed Butter cream Frosting to create a mounded surface.
- Using black or brown M&Ms, create colored eyes for the witch on one side of the cupcake (but not the top, which is for hair and a hat).
- For the pointy nose, use candy corn or a gummy slice.
- Cut pieces of black rope licorice to create a frown or scowl, eyebrows and hair for the witch. The hair can simply be laid across the top of the cupcake mound since you’ll cover it with the cone.
- Place a chocolate ice cream cone on top of the hair and press into the butter cream for an extra secure fit. For extra spooky decoration, you can top off her hat with a spider ring on the cone.
